About Daniel Kowalski
Daniel Kowalski is a former Australian middle- and long-distance swimmer, specialising in freestyle events. He has competed at the Olympic Games in 200m, 400m and 1,500m individual freestyle events and in the 200m freestyle relay. At the 1996 Summer Olympics, he was the first man in 92 years to earn medals in all of the 200m, 400m and 1500m freestyle events. His big wins include:
- gold medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay – 2000 Sydney Olympics
- silver medal in the 1500m freestyle, bronze medal in the 400m freestyle, and bronze medal in the 200m freestyle – 1996 Atlanta Olympics
- silver medal in the 1500m freestyle – 1998 World Championships
- gold medal in the 4x200m relay, bronze medal in the 1500m freestyle – 1994 World Championships
Kowalski was part of the world record setting Australian gold medal 4x200m relay team at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

About Natalie Cook
Natalie Cook has represented Australia four times at the Olympic Games, starting with the Atlanta games in 1996. She won gold at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, and competed in Athens and in Beijing.
Among other achievements such as being dux of her school, Natalie is also an author. The book “Go Girl” was published in September 2001, and she has another on the way.
